Aan den Oever is located on one of the most beautiful meanders of the river Dyle in the Belgian village of Korbeek-Dijle, near the city of Leuven. Thanks to its unique location near De Doode Bemde nature reserve, we can accommodate our guests in stunning natural surroundings with a beautiful panorama over the Dyle valley. The countless footpaths, cycle routes, and sights in the surrounding area make Aan Den Oever an ideal place to stay for both active visitors and those who are in search of some peace and quiet.

The bustling city centre of Leuven is a stone's throw away, and the different business locations in and around Leuven are all situated within a radius of 10 km. Leuven can be easily reached with public transport.

Aan Den Oever is located in a green area at the end of a narrow cul-de-sac in the Belgian town of Korbeek-Dijle, 50 metres away from the river Dyle.

Korbeek-Dijle is a formerly independent municipality of Bertem and is located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant.

Neighbouring municipalities are: Oud-Heverlee, Egenhoven, Neerijse, and Leefdaal.

Our accommodation is located at Veeweide 40.
The private sauna is in the garden at Veeweide 42.

Buses to and from Leuven stop at the bus stop five minutes' walk away (350 metres). Buses depart every 30 minutes (number 395).

How to get here by car: On the motorway, take the E314 towards Leuven and turn off at junction 15 Leuven. Turn right at the first set of traffic lights towards Korbeek-Dijle. After 1.2 km, at the little chapel, turn left. Aan den Oever is located at the end of the road on the right-hand side.
We have six free parking spaces for visitors.

Thanks to its unique location in the middle of the Dyle valley and with various nature reserves in the vicinity such as De Doode Bemde, Koeheide, Meerdaalwoud, Heverleebos, and De Zoete Waters, Korbeek-Dijle is very popular with hikers, cyclists, and mountain bikers.

The city centre of Leuven is located just 7 km away, and with its rich history, stunning monuments, array of shops, cosy terraces, and outstanding restaurants, it is definitely worth a visit.

The accommodation at Aan Den Oever is a modern residence. It was recently converted into a luxurious guest house and it can sleep a maximum of six people. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

The kitchen features all the mod-cons you could want: a dishwasher, combi oven, steam oven, gas cooker, two fridges, a freezer, and a dining table for six people.


The first bathroom is located on the ground floor and has a walk-in shower, washing machine and dryer, hairdryer, and adjoining separate toilet. The second bathroom is located on the first floor and has a bath, walk-in shower, toilet, and hairdryer.

Private sauna

The private sauna complex at Aan Den Oever has enough room for six people. It is located in an oasis of peace and quiet on the banks of the river Dyle at Korbeek-Dijle, near Leuven.

Thanks to its unique location and design, the private sauna complex enjoys a beautiful view over the meander of the river as well as the Dyle valley. The surrounding garden has been planted with hardy annual plants that add to the green character of the surrounding nature and also form a natural privacy fence.

The private sauna can be used after reservation. You may use the sauna daily from 9:00 AM. The latest possible sauna session is at 8:00 PM until midnight at the latest.

Whilst the minimum reservation slot is two hours, we recommend you reserve for three hours in order to fully enjoy our facilities.

The relaxation room is equipped with a fridge complete with drinks which guests are free to consume. We also have a menu of snacks and light dishes for those who want a bite to eat.
